Why "Element?"
Element refers to the four elements of nature: earth, fire, water, and air.
Even though we have suffered significant losses due to these four elements, we are determined to rebuild and harness these very forces for positive change.
The demand for a facility like ours has been evident for some time.
At Element Sports Summit, we are dedicated to delivering the ultimate sports facility experience for our community.
With our state-of-the-art recreation facility and basketball gyms, we will strive to help each athlete reach their full potential.

A gym is where our story began. As a freshman, little did I know just how much collegiate ball would change my life forever. Shooting around after practice one day, a football captain stepped onto the court and took my breath away.
It was far more than a friendly game of one-on-one.
It was the beginning...our first date, that lead to almost 25 years of marriage, 5 kids, 6 dogs, 11 moves, medical school, Obstetrics/Gynecology residency and our final home together. Matt and I celebrated many milestones & goals achieved, pushed through heartaches & disappointments, every valley and mountain top in between.

November 21, 2021 a moment in time that changed it all...
A moment I found myself standing in ashes of tragedy.
THREE loved ones gone in a split second.
A moment frozen in time. A defining moment.
Life-altering, breath-taking, spirit-crushing, forever gone.
Overwhelmed with choices and decisions, forks in the road and an uncharted journey ahead. Time stood still. Saturated in grief, I saw beauty. I choose purpose, drive and passion because of community support, the stories and the endless encouragement. The evidence of hundreds of little people that my husband had a hand in delivering as babies drawing their first breath. As he took his last, the aspiration and need to show how much we care- about and for- those around us grew exponentially. Because- only thing we get to take with us, in the end, is our relationships. The most valuable thing on earth.
It’s what brought us together on the college basketball court- changed the course and enriched my life deeply. Through our years as parents, so many relationships formed, life changing moments and lessons learn. No matter the level of athleticism, it’s a place that brings people together, where learning never ends, growing is infinite and love goes beyond a game or competitive sport.

Twenty- six years together. Exactly.
Started with a moment that took my breath away,
now serves as a lifetime memory.
Ended in a moment that took Matt’s breath away,
now serves as the purpose to survive life itself.
Bringing people together with purpose,
creating and capturing life-changing moments.
Being kind, caring, and brave; trying to do the right thing;
for my kids, my family, my community.
I’m in my ELEMENT, doing what I love, caring FOR and ABOUT those I love.
